Status Update

Just so you know, podcast is still in the making. I can say as of right now you can expect to watch it in the coming weeks. Things will have to be delayed a little bit because I just found I am going out of town for about a week before school starts. Later on I will be letting you know how things are going and I'll be giving you updated expectancies about the podcast.

Until then,

I am chef Michael,

Welcome To Modifying Flavors

Welcome to Modifying Flavors. A blog featuring weekly recipes that I want to share with you. My inspiration to start this blog was not fueled by my anti-Microsoft persona, but by my family. All my life I have been surrounded by family chefs and I've always loved the kitchen. But in case you want to see my thoughts on Microsoft and everything else, visit my blog "Michael's Thoughts." But back to the main point. In an effort to greater expand the way we all think and cook, this blog is it. I would also like to do a podcast compiled with stuff from my blog, weekly. This is how it works. I post a new recipe on Sunday, and from Sunday until Wednesday, you can send in modifications, ideas, and ingredients to add to the recipe. Then on Thursday I take my top picks and you can vote on them in a weekly poll, 5 will be selected. Then on Saturday you get to see the winning idea on my podcast! Another thing I want to mention is sub-footage. This is what I like to call "Behind The Scenes With The Chef." You can send your questions about cooking or the show to questions4thechef@gmail.com and see your questions answered personally by me. At the moment I am still getting things set up and am still in the planning stages. Things that need to be done include finding some recipes in advance (because I need things on hand during the school year, but you can also send in recipes to trymyidea@gmail.com. I also have to do set choosing and designing, video intro, iTunes podcasting setup, and a few other things. Also for now I will be using a camera that I have which takes fairly good video, but some time around Christmas I will have a nicer video, it will be a Nikon DSLR with really nice movie recording, amazing quality. So for now I hope you enjoy, and be exited about what I'll have to offer in the near future. Until then,

I am chef Michael.
